- Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Adam Up
It has turned very cold here in the UK in the past few days, so I'm hoping this is a welcome and warming edition of Adam Up.... I have got lots to share....
The latest couple of episodes of the Hypnosis weekly podcast have gone live since the previous edition. Episode 99 was the footage from the live panel at the UK Hypnosis Convention a couple of weeks ago featuring Freddy Jacquin, Fredric Mau, Kate Beaven-Marks, Alberto Dell'Isola and Jorgen Rasmussen. If you are not a subscriber, you can listen to it here, it contained a real depth and variance of perspectives, insight and education on a range of topics in front of a large live
audience:
Episode 99 – UKHC 2018 Special Edition.
My one hundredth episode is working out to be the most popular episode I have ever had. I've been taken aback by how well received this episode has been and the feedback I've been given has been incredible, I have been massively humbled. This edition features me discussing my research in detail, I court controversy with some of my findings, draw some very significant conclusions and the man in my seat is my friend Kev
Sheldrake (of Head Hacking fame) who also offers much insight, reflection and consideration throughout. It’s a bumper episode and offers a huge amount of information. Enjoy it here if you are not a subscriber...
Episode 100 – Special Edition Featuring Kev Sheldrake & Adam Eason.
Also this week, I have a new video of footage taken of the panel session on the Friday night, so if you want to see how it all went down...
For the second year in the row, I hosted a live panel Q&A session on the Friday night of the UK Hypnosis Convention. This year we filmed it and I’ve added it to my YouTube channel in addition to the audio0 footage mentioned above.
We took questions from members of the UK hypnosis convention facebook group in addition to a couple that were posed on the night.
It was greatly received, we had some wonderful and varying insight from our panel members and had a lot of fun.
Here is the video footage, filmed live in front of an audience of approximately 150 people who were attending the convention. Enjoy:
Adam Eason presents the Friday Night Panel Session Live at the 2018 UK Hypnosis Convention.
I've also got a new video warning about false prophets, an article about being super authentic and some ideas to stop us from running away from our problems.
I've got a bunch of other stuff too (including notifications about upcoming events), a fresh evidence based hypnosis meme of the week (one that has generated a LOT of debate online; about stage hypnosis), and a joke or two along the way.....
And just as a reminder, you are receiving this email because you signed up for this ezine, downloaded a course prospectus or attended a course at some point in time. If you no longer wish to receive this weekly hypnosis and personal development ezine, you may unsubscribe by clicking the link at the foot of this email. I only want you to receive it each week if you find it of value and you actually read it. Also, we delete you from
our distribution if you have not opened these emails for a while.

Ok, let's get on with it, shall we?
New Video: Hypnotherapists! Beware of False Prophets (and falsely promised profits)…
|
I have a new video over at the Hypnosis Geek YouTube channel.
I think the title explains and the video does not need much explanation or introduction….
In this video, I discuss the increasing number of hypnotherapy business development gurus and the promises that they make and why as a field, we are becoming our own worst enemy by entrusting our careers with many of these people.
Have a watch, let me know your thoughts, enjoy!
Hypnotherapists! Beware of False Prophets (and falsely promised profits)…
I sent out some messages today to all the people who have ever downloaded a prospectus for my hypnotherapy practitioner diploma course. If you are considering training to be a hypnotherapist and did not see our Black Friday offer, message me and I'll forward you on the details, you'll not want to miss out.

Interested in learning self-hypnosis? Want to get proof of your own self-hypnosis skills and create hypnotic phenomena by yourself, for yourself? Don’t know where to start?
Here’s your answer….
I get asked so often by so many people about the best way to learn self-hypnosis and to get some kind of evidence that they are doing it correctly. I usually reply to say that the single best way to know you are doing self-hypnosis correctly is to give yourself real-life evidence – by creating hypnotic phenomena.
What do I mean by “hypnotic Phenomena”?
This is our effect. The effect that we are going to create. With stage hypnotists, they create effects of people believing they are someone else, for example. With hypnotherapists they create effects of being free of habits, for example. With street hypnotists, they create the effect of someone believing their foot is stuck to the floor, for example. Within this self-hypnosis roadmap, you are going to create an effect that is going to be undeniably convincing to you that you are using
self-hypnosis well.
This roadmap teaches you how to adopt the hypnotic mindset, how to induce self-hypnosis, how to absorb yourself profoundly in self-hypnosis, how to create your own incredible hypnotic phenomena, and then how to exit self-hypnosis and develop your skills with it. I think you are going to love this. To get the roadmap and guide sent through to your inbox straight away, just visit this page on my college website:
A FREE Self-Hypnosis Roadmap – Learn How To Create Your Own Hypnotic Phenomena.
Go download this, you are going to have a lot of fun with it, believe me. Enjoy engaging with self-hypnosis, most importantly, enjoy creating real-life undeniable hypnotic phenomena for yourself – it's going to blow your mind.
Are You Considering Training To Be A Hypnotherapist?
Then I have something very cool indeed for you.
For anyone considering training in the field of hypnotherapy, looking to train to be a hypnotherapist, I have put together a roadmap; a guide to help you do that. Whether you come and train with me here at this college or go somewhere else, this roadmap and guide will offer you a real direction of how to identify the best way to train as a hypnotherapist.
Even more importantly though, it contains a HUGE amount of free resources for you to use and learn from. To download it, just visit this page and you’ll be sent through the Roadmap. For free, with my compliments. I have crammed it full of information, advice, guidance and it includes a mass of free resources that I wished I had
been given when I first looked at training to be a hypnotherapist:
This Week's Main Articles:
Be authentic and stop running away.
|
Be authentic. Be genuine. Initially seems simple, yet so many seem to struggle with being so. That’s what today’s blog entry is all about – learning how to be authentic.
“Authenticity” is all about being real. Genuine, not an imitation.
Have you found yourself truly motivated to do something great? To achieve a goal you have set for yourself? You’ve written down the goal. You have a plan of action set in place. You say to yourself, on Monday I’m starting this plan. Then Monday comes nothing happens. You know why? Because perhaps Monday never really comes.
You find yourself researching, watching videos, reading articles, taking notes, checking your emails and you tell yourself you’re not as good as him or you can’t do what he does. So you wait for everything to be exactly right and perfect to the letter, and you realise it’s two years later and you’re still here.
This is a scenario I had explained to me by a client recently and it is one I have seen many times before. We started to examine how he could start taking action and the thing which really got him motoring was examining what it meant for him to be authentic. He had been attempting to be someone else, to imitate a life he felt he should be leading and it lacked authenticity.
Much of enabling oneself starts with finding out who you are as an individual, what you want out of life and knowing who you are here to serve.
Why be Authentic?
“Everything will line up perfectly when knowing and living the truth becomes more important than looking good.” – Alan Cohen.
Think of someone you know who is really authentic. How do you feel when you’re around them? You might feel pretty good. That’s because being genuine not only improves your life, but also the lives of those around you.
Authenticity can sometimes mean being vulnerable, but the reward is that with a certain amount of vulnerability comes connection. When you do come from a place of authenticity, you have the ability to draw to yourself the people, love, career, relationships, and experiences that match who you truly are. Once your life is in alignment, you enter a flow where life just feels easier. And who doesn’t want that?
Right now you may be thinking, “that’s easy to say, but I can’t do it.” It is understandable that being authentic can often make you feel scared, but in order to get the bigger rewards, you need to take the bigger risks... Read the article in full for all the references, the evidence and the ways to be more authentic...
Why and How to Be Authentic in Everyday Life.
Secondly.... Stop running away. No, this is not what I say to our pet cockapoo Wilma when on walks, because she is wonderfully well behaved. I’m talking about people who run away from their problems or other aspects of life….
“Don’t run away from challenges, run over them.” – Joan Benoit Samuelson.
We all have problems. No one is immune. Some problems are more serious than others. Some problems persist and others are remedied quickly.
One thing every problem has in common, is that each problem is an indicator that something needs to change or action needs to be taken.
While we can share similar problems, what we need to change may vary. This is why it is important to listen to what your problems are telling you.
While there are countless areas we can experience problems, there are a few common areas and examples of what these problems could be saying needs to change.
Before getting into those areas, take a moment and think back to a problem you once had that you thought was a big problem at the time. Now when you face that situation, you probably handle it better. What was once a big problem is now handled automatically. What is the difference? The answer is that you have grown. You have worked through the struggle, found a solution, and deal with it now, likely on auto-pilot.
The same can be said about any current or future problem you encounter. Any big problem you face; is a clear indication you need to grow. The more you grow, the smaller the problems become. Read this article in full for real help on how to stop running away and how to relish problems....
Stop Running Away from Your Problems.
