- Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Adam Up What a week it has been here in the Eason household. We have had some illness, both my wife and my daughter have been poorly and my daughter has been into hospital, it has not been anything majorly serious and she’ll recover, it was mostly precautionary - but such things are important and require the presence, love and support of the father and husband. So I’ve been a tad preoccupied this
past week.
It also meant that last weekend I got to spend lots of time with my son, we did our best to be out of the house and away from the quarantine zone - and though we did not want the girls to think of us having a great time without them, we had a great time.
We ran a local Parkrun event together with my brother and his son so there were four Eason males running it together, laughing, smiling and enjoying our time together. I posted a picture on our social media channels if you are interested.
This week, my social media output has been filled with memes about hypnosis, some photos from my younger days including winning super cub and a hat competition shot from the wedding of Prince Charles and Deans in the 1980s!!

Imagination and Creativity - Watch the Kids

Whilst with my son at the weekend, I had an illuminating time with him during us playing 'Hot Wheels' together. I noticed and recognised a very particular smell on all of his pieces of track, and yes, I discovered that my
expensive Armani cologne had not been misplaced by me, in fact my son had decided he would use it to slick the tracks up so his cars could go faster.
Likewise, I had not lost the Apple TV controller from my bedroom either, he had decided that this controller was the perfect shape and had the right dimensions
to be fired around the 'hot wheels' track better than any of his hot wheels cars and so he had been firing it around the Armani slicked track. It cracked me up.
This was just a couple of the ways in which I absolutely love seeing the imaginations of children exploring and pushing
boundaries.
It seems just second nature to children to have this far reaching imagination and creativity that we seem to lose track of as adults.

2. Last week, the organiser of the UK Hypnosis Convention Nick Ebdon announced the timetable
for the event taking place later this year (November 3-5). I thought this was a very good time to say that I think this is the leading event of it’s kind in the UK and if you are a hypnosis professional, go and grab your tickets from the website and have a good read about what is included. I’m going to speaking at the event again this year, and I’ll also be hosting a live edition of the Hypnosis Weekly podcast on the Friday night of the convention with a special guest panel of Anthony

3. This week, I also wrote about something that I am immensely proud of right now. Keith actually emailed me to query the title of the blog entry which was this “The Best Online Hypnotherapy Training Resource for Hypnotherapists

It is a big claim, right? And I softened the message a little bit by opening the blog article with “Does that seem like a rather grandiose title for today’s blog entry? Well, I think what I’m writing about today warrants such grandiosity.”
I rarely do this on the blog, for years I have written blog upon blog with free articles, self-hypnosis strategies, personal development techniques, research backed approaches to living a fulfilling life and then every once in a blue moon, I write a blog entry such as this one, because I am so excited and proud.
So go and have a look at what I’ve been going on about….
You’ll note that the Hypnosis Weekly podcast latest edition is not out until next week, I have had to skip this week due to simply not having the time, but it’ll be back next week with Renee Van Der Floodt, you’ll
