[Keith Watson - (Adam teaching Advanced Course this week)]
Yes me again - What is going on?
Well this is the last week that I am standing in
for some time.
Let me explain...
It has been a challenging year for us here creating more courses for you.
Adam has been delivering several new continuing professional
development (CPD) courses which we have videoed to produce more online tuition.
Believe me!! It has really taken a lot of patience to get everything we wanted in place. Persistance!
This week my son Tom and I have been videoing the second half of the
accredited Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma Course - (adv hip dip).
[ Over the years of working with Adam I have had hundreds of hours of education on the subject but still don't have a single hypnotherapy letter after my name - it must be because I haven't got my homework and case studies in. Who knows?
]
Adam really promotes high standards and development of the hypnotherapy field and bringing it in from the fringes. I totally agree with him. Just think about it - Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses and other talk therapists take years to train and have on going professional CPD updating.
My wife who is a Health Visitor went off on a training day last week and that happens frequently. She receives her professional journals and is always reading research papers. It is how the professional services develop and move forward.
What has been great for me this week is meeting again some experienced hypnotherapists on
the Advanced Diploma Course who are really leading the way. I will let Adam tell you more about the course participants next week.
The best clinical hypnotherapists will use evidence researched approaches and create better treatment results within their practices, and then of course by referrals build a better business. This success will of course enhance the
profession.
[Oh that was trying to say a lot in a small twitter sized amount of words but anyway more about it all next week]
