Hello - and Welcome to Adam Up

I am writing this sitting at the back of the room where Adam is teaching on his five day Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy Course.

I have been videoing the course for the last three days but my Tom is handling the video camera today so that I can send our Adam Up out as usual on a Thursday.

It is great to be a fly on the wall and watch proceedings objectively.

I have spent hours recording Adam's courses and in particular the diploma course and the one day seminars and I can really get a great sense of the atmosphere in the room.

This course was interesting in another way for me as the participants were already trained and interested in continuing professional development and of course familiar with hypnosis.

I can see how rewarding it is for hypnotherapists to come on a course with experienced peers. The participants this week have been out there in the real world and and are full of anecdotes and experiences to share. The conversations are animated and business cards being shared. The networking will live well beyond this course.

What is particularly interesting to me is the input and conversations with Hypnotherapists who have trained with other schools. I know Adam well and he enjoys the exchanges about different approaches to hypnotherapy training.

As I write this Adam is talking about being somewhat provocative but also maintaining a great alliance with clients.

"They haven't come to a Hypnotherapist to stop smoking, stop smoking, overcome a phobia - they have come to get back control of some aspects of their life."

The thing is that these course hypnotherapists are keen to develop more skills and get more techniques in their therapist toolkit to help these clients.

On a personal note - it is great to be in a room with such a great group of people - a pleasure to meet them all.

So What Is The Videoing All About?

Why are we there with our video camera?

We have been videoing all of our courses and seminars for some years now. It was originally done to be a revision resource for our students at the College of Hypnosis.

There are hundreds of hours of these videos and the collection is growing. Next year we will be adding four new courses to the membership site.

What membership site?

We have an area which we tend to call our Platinum Area. I can confuse you and give you a long history on the separate lives of this membership area - but I will spare you. However the membership is open to anyone that wants to study hypnosis.

The material is all you would need for various qualifications but of course you are not being assessed etc.. So the 'platinum' website is great if you don't want to study the subject or update on your previous training but not to get a qualification.

However more about that in a minute.

It is great to get a lifetime membership now because the cost will go up next year when all of the new courses are added.

ONLINE COURSE TRAINING

There are several changes we are planning for this coming year. Adam will elaborate and explain as we are going along but let me give you a quick lead in.

One of our frustrations has been reaching all the people who want to come and train with Adam Eason.

We have begun to run webinars online and have decided to offer our courses as an online experience.

We have two courses ready to be offered online right now.

CBH CERTIFICATION TRAINING

Take the current course this week. All of the Cognitive Behavioural Course teaching in the classroom has now been recorded and within a week will be uploaded and put in the Platinum Membership.

Any hypnotherapist wanting to get the Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy Certification will be able to join and register for our online course.

Joiners to the course will need to register and with the required background training.
Get access to the Platinum Area for three months to watch the videos.
Receive the work packs and presentation resources.
Receive the reading list from Adam
Join hangout groups / or skype sessions with Adam or members of his team as arranged by Adam.
Fill in the study questionnaire for the assessment stage.

ACCREDITED HYPNOTHERAPY DIPLOMA TRAINING

The current 10 month course is being videoed and you can train online - right now and use the new recordings of that course.

If you download our Hypnotherapy Diploma prospectus you will see that it now has a section about the online version.

Adam will be delighted to talk to you about how we intend to help you qualify as a hypnotherapist online. The intention is that you will get all of the support that our current students get. It would be foolish of me to try to go through all of this. Make sure you read the prospectus fully first and get in touch to clarify anything.
