This week, there has been a lot of discussion about mental health in the news.

Numerous articles in the media have covered a range of stories that depict a somewhat gloomy time for the world of mental health. I wrote about this a couple of times this week.

As well as charting the increase in prescribed antidepressants,

I wrote about the very real physiological effects of mental illness that people seem to dismiss or be unaware of.

I also wrote about the very tragic and sad shootings in the US, with a young man named Elliott Rodger allegedly at the centre of it.

Commentators have been looking at his mental health as have other officials involved in the case,

I wonder what can be learned from this?

Does the case provide us with a major warning about lack of adequate mental health care? 

Recently, I wrote and spoke about being mentored by experts using just your imagination, after having been hypnotised. 

Following that article, I was emailed by a lovely man who pointed out a really neat technique he called "The World Class Visualizer" and so I thought I'd share that notion with you to give you a simpler and possibly shorter, less convoluted way to receive advice and instruction from a mentor in a different way. 

You follow these simple steps. 

Joke Of The Week

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car-both could barely see over the dashboard. As they were cruising along they came to an intersection. The stoplight was red but they just went on through. The woman in the passenger seat thought to herself "I must be losing it, I could have sworn we just went through a red light."

After a few more minutes they came to another intersection and the light was red again and again they went right though. This time the woman in the passenger seat was almost sure that the light had been red but was really concerned that she was losing it. She was getting nervous and decided to pay very close attention to the road and the next intersection to see what was going on.

At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was definitely red and they went right through and she turned to the other woman and said, "Mildred! Did you know we just ran through three red lights in a row! You could have killed us!"

Mildred turned to her and said, "Oh, am I driving?" 

Hahaha, I lenjoyed that one. Thank you to everybody who continues to contribute to the jokes in the Hub and those who email me jokes every week. I love getting them.
