- Hello and welcome to this focused edition of Adam Up
Don't say it... Don't say it... Don't say it.... Agh, I can't help myself, I'm going to say it... It's SO hot! Whew it's hot.
We have had the hottest May day on record, and it just kept on getting hotter from there. I spent a day at our local beach at the weekend and my pale body and ginger head may as well have been in the middle of the Sahara.
The sunshine makes
most people happy, and I do like it's impact in a range of ways. Sadly though, the intense heat makes me a bit of a moody pants for a variety of reasons (it effects my sleep, makes me feel less capable at the gym and I get hot and bothered and oh my, I clearly need a good hypnotherapist). This makes the focus on today's edition of Adam Up particularly apt... Today I am focusing on the psychology of mood elevation!
Soooo, last week I wrote a detailed article on the topic and also
this week I recorded some short videos to illustrate how psychological science can be applied to elevate mood and in turn condition our brains to experience better moods more often - and how these applications and approaches can become a part of anyone's daily life. Therefore, I hope you find today's edition of this Adam Up Ezine broadcast stimulating, refreshing and importantly; useful. Especially if you struggle with low moods.
These videos and articles are all free,
I am also offering a suite of mood elevation hypnosis audios at a ridiculously low fee today, after the articles and videos. ==== Wherever you are in the world, I hope you are healthy and happy and that your mental health and well-being benefits from that which is being offered here
today.
=== And just as a reminder, you are receiving this email because you signed up for this ezine, downloaded a course prospectus or attended a course at some point in time. We will not share these details with anyone and we will only use them to send you this and related, relevant broadcasts. This broadcast is only

How to Elevate Mood Daily. A focused psychological exploration...
|
1. Most people think mood is something that simply happens to them.
Psychological science suggests otherwise.
Your daily mood is shaped by attention, physiology, behaviour, relationships, sleep, stress regulation and the way your brain interprets experience. The exciting part? Many of these systems are trainable.
I’ve just published a new evidence-based article
exploring: ✔ The neuroscience of mood ✔ Why attention changes emotional experience ✔ The psychology of resilience ✔ Evidence-based techniques to improve your mood daily ✔ Practical ways to regulate stress and elevate emotional well-being
This article is grounded in neuroscience and psychological science and offers genuinely applicable strategies that can make a meaningful difference to everyday life.
If you want to improve your mood naturally and intelligently, this
is for you....

2. Motivation does not always come first.
In this short video, I explain the psychology of behavioural activation and why small actions can dramatically influence mood,
motivation and emotional resilience. Mood often follows behaviour. Ps. It just so happens that when you record a video straight after a gym finisher, you puff and blow a bit when talking! Watch Video Here: Change Mood Fast with Behavioural
Activation. 3. Many people think emotional strength means suppressing difficult feelings. Psychological science suggests something very different. In this short video, I explain an evidence-based emotional acceptance technique that can help reduce emotional struggle, improve resilience and strengthen psychological flexibility. A practical method you can apply immediately during stressful moments in everyday life. Watch
now and learn how to work with emotions instead of fighting them. Watch Video Here: Improve Your Mood with this Emotional Acceptance Technique. 4. Your brain becomes better at noticing whatever it repeatedly focuses on.
In this
short video, I explain a simple evidence-based psychological technique that can help interrupt negative thinking loops and improve emotional regulation quickly.
